Jane Sidwick
PG Cert (Clin.Hyp.) PDCBHYP., MBSCH
Clinical Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and Counsellor MBACP
I am Jane Sidwick a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist. I trained with the prestigious London College of Clinical Hypnosis hen it was affiliated with the University of West London and gained a post graduate diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy covering psychotherapeutic perspectives of Analysis, Cognitive and Behavioural disciplines which underpin the effectiveness of hypnosis. I use different techniques and approaches to change client's maladaptive belief system so they can achieve their goals. I am also a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis whose members are listed on the NHS website for treating anxiety and phobias.
Research has shown Hypnosis integrated with up todate psychotherapies (Cognitive behaviour Therapy) is a fast effective and gentle way to overcome problems that effect behaviour and interfere with normal daily life. These symptoms can range from headaches, overeating, sleeplessness, panic attacks along with any number of habits and hang-ups (fears and phobias) leading to anxiety and depression.
My approach is one of understanding and sensitivity to your issues where confidentiality is upmost. In fact one of the best things about hypnosis, is if for personal reasons, you would rather not discuss the issue only the symptoms, the sessions can be carried out content free. Your subconscious mind can be guided to do the work. The subconscious mind knows everything about you without you realising it!
I follow the ethics laid down by the BSCH and BACP of which I am registered member (British association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have full professional indemnity insurance, along with an Enhanced Criminal Records Certificate issued by the Disclosure and Barring Service allowing me to work with children and vulnerable adults.
